I do love my glasses but I am concerned about how much sunlight is filtered out.Do we really get the protection against harmful rays?Here in New Zealand a very important question, people even get melanomas in their eyes.

Can I leave a ‘recommendation’ on your website?
I have bought a few reading glasses from Eyelids over the years. The product range, price, and service has always been as good as anyone could expect (unless you feel you need very expensive reading glasses).
Recently, I dropped and broke my favourite folding glasses (#1). Eyelids kindly searched their ‘Pandora’s Box’, and sent me some spare parts. That is a service better than anyone could expect.
Also, although I do like the #1 folding glasses, they could be improved. The pivot at the nose piece should be set slightly further back (towards the face) from the plane of the lenses. This would create a better gap for the arms, when the glasses are folded. The current dimensions mean the folded arrangement is too tight, which stresses the joints. The arms could also be twisted a bit at the spring joint, so that they remain level when opened. I know you’re not the manufacturers, but I think this feedback would improve the product. The selling points of these glasses are they are ultra-small when folded, yet still neat and sturdy.
It’s been a pleasure doing business with you. I will recommend you to my friends who are in need of reading glasses.
